Gunnison Country Times

Members of the public mingled Tuesday evening in the Gunnison County Courthouse during an open house in conjunction with County Commissioners devoted to the Gunnison Public Lands Initiative (GPLI)- a proposal drafted by a consortium of representatives from various local groups. The work-in-progress proposal for protection of additional public lands, it’s hoped, will eventually result in legislation before U.S Congress. Attendees of the open house interacted with GPLI members during the meeting, asking questions and offering feedback on the latest plan.
